Event management in Riyadh
Nexel delivers corporate events, conferences, product launches and brand activations in Riyadh with the same crews and process as in the Eastern Province: a one-hour flight, travel shown as a line item, and a GEA licence that covers the capital's permitting.
The brief from here
Riyadh is where the Kingdom's largest programmes are announced and where head offices, ministries and the giga-projects hold their conferences, AGMs and launches. Briefs from Riyadh tend to be larger, more protocol-driven and more tightly dated than anywhere else — a launch is pegged to a ministerial diary or a Riyadh Season window, and the venue is often booked before the agency is.
Venues and locations we work in
- Riyadh Front Exhibition & Conference Center
- Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center (RICEC)
- King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) conference venues
- Boulevard Riyadh City and the Riyadh Season zones
- Diriyah and the At-Turaif heritage district
- Hotel ballrooms — Ritz-Carlton, Four Seasons Kingdom Centre, Hilton Riyadh
Permits and approvals
Public and ticketed entertainment in Riyadh runs under General Entertainment Authority licensing, which Nexel holds; corporate events on private premises usually need the venue's own approvals and, for outdoor or street-facing activations, Riyadh Municipality. Riyadh Season programming adds its own calendar and content approvals. We file early — the permit timeline, not the build, is what moves a Riyadh date.
Crew, travel and timing
The core crew — producer, technical director, stage manager and the film team — travels from Dammam; local hire fills stagehands, hostesses and additional AV where scale needs it. A one-day event is typically fly-in the evening before, show day, and a return the same night. Multi-day conferences keep the crew on site for the run. Travel and accommodation appear as their own line on every Riyadh quote.

Questions clients ask
{03}01Why hire a Dammam-based company for a Riyadh event?
Because you get one accountable team for the whole Kingdom. Clients with offices in both regions — energy, industrial, healthcare and government-linked groups — brief us once and get the same producer, the same creative standard and the same film crew in Riyadh as in Dhahran. Travel is a visible cost; inconsistency between two agencies is a hidden one.
02Can you deliver a Riyadh Season activation?
Yes. Riyadh Season zones have their own content, brand and operating approvals on top of GEA licensing, and the build windows are short. We plan the activation to the zone's technical specifications and file the approvals as part of the scope.
03How much notice does a Riyadh conference need?
Six to eight weeks for a conference with permits and a mid-size venue; longer during Riyadh Season and the autumn exhibition run when the major venues are contracted months ahead. A corporate evening in a hotel ballroom can be turned around in three to four weeks.
