Scope of this Policy

This Policy applies to personal data processed through this website (in both its English and Arabic versions), our contact form, our newsletter subscription, the checkout through which you buy Aahlan Tags plans, and the communication channels we make available such as email and WhatsApp. It does not cover third-party websites, applications, or platforms that we link to, or the payment page of Tap Payments; those are governed by their own privacy policies.

Personal Data We Collect

We collect the data you choose to provide to us: your name, company name, phone number, email address, and the content of your message when you use our contact form or contact us directly, and your email address when you subscribe to our newsletter. When you buy a plan, we collect the details you enter at checkout, as described under Orders and Payments below. When you communicate with us through WhatsApp, email, or social platforms, we receive the contact details and content you send. In addition, our hosting provider processes limited technical data (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) in server logs for the purposes of security and service delivery. This website does not use analytics or advertising trackers.

Orders and Payments

When you buy an Aahlan Tags plan on this website, we collect the details you enter at checkout — your name, your email address, your phone number if you give it, and the plan you choose — and we create an order number for the purchase. You enter your card details only on the secure payment page of Tap Payments, which is certified to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) and processes your payment as an independent provider under its own privacy policy. We never see or store your full card number or security code. From Tap we receive the outcome of the payment: its status, amount, currency, date and reference, and the card brand and last four digits. We use the email address you give at checkout to find your Aahlan account, activate your plan, and contact you about your order. Aahlan is a brand of Nexel Event Company, so your plan is activated by us, on our own platform.

Purposes and Lawful Bases

We process personal data to: respond to your enquiries and prepare proposals (taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract); process your order, activate the plan you bought on your Aahlan account, handle refunds and provide support (performance of the purchase contract); keep order, invoice and payment records (to comply with Saudi tax and commercial record-keeping obligations); send you our newsletter (based on your consent, which you may withdraw at any time); operate, secure, and improve the website (based on our legitimate interest, applied in a manner that does not override your rights and interests); and comply with obligations under the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Consent and Its Withdrawal

Where our processing relies on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us at info@nexelevents.com or by using the unsubscribe method provided. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

Disclosure of Personal Data

We do not sell personal data. We disclose it only to: Tap Payments, which processes your payment and any refund; service providers who help us operate the website and our communications (such as hosting, content delivery, and email providers) under obligations of confidentiality; professional advisers where necessary; and competent authorities where disclosure is required by law. Your order details are also used on the Aahlan platform, which Nexel Event Company itself operates, to activate your plan.

International Data Transfers

This website is served through global hosting and content-delivery infrastructure, which means limited technical data and messages you submit may be processed outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; the same can apply to our payment provider’s processing. Where personal data is transferred outside the Kingdom, we do so in accordance with the conditions of the PDPL and its regulations, limiting the transfer to the minimum data necessary.

Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Policy or as required by Saudi law, after which it is securely destroyed or anonymized. Order, invoice and payment records — including the order number, the amount paid and the payment reference — are kept for the period that Saudi tax and commercial record-keeping laws require.

Your Rights under the PDPL

Subject to the PDPL and its Implementing Regulations, you have the right to: be informed about how we process your personal data; access your personal data held by us; obtain a copy of it in a readable and clear format; request correction, completion, or updating of your data; request destruction of your data when it is no longer needed; and withdraw your consent to processing based on consent. Complaints

If you have a concern about how we handle your personal data, please contact us first so we can address it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Saudi Data & Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) as the competent authority for personal data protection in the Kingdom.

Data Security

We apply appropriate administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal data, including encryption of data in transit, limiting access to those who need it, and engaging reputable service providers. Card details are entered only on Tap Payments’ PCI DSS-certified payment page and never reach our servers.

Children’s Data

This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Third-Party Links

Our website contains links to external platforms such as WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok. Once you leave our website, any processing of your data is governed by the privacy policies of those platforms.
