Event management in Jeddah
Nexel plans and delivers corporate events, launches and activations in Jeddah — a two-hour flight from our Dammam base — with a GEA licence for the city's entertainment calendar and one crew across every leg of a multi-city campaign.
The brief from here
Jeddah is the Kingdom's commercial gateway and its consumer-brand capital: retail, hospitality, FMCG and entertainment brands launch here first, the Red Sea and Jeddah Season set the calendar, and events lean experiential — activations, openings and public-facing festivals rather than closed-door conferences. Briefs from Jeddah ask for atmosphere and footfall as much as for protocol.
Venues and locations we work in
- Jeddah Superdome
- Jeddah Center for Forums & Events
- Jeddah Corniche and the Red Sea waterfront
- Al-Balad, the UNESCO-listed historic district
- King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC), an hour north
- Hotel ballrooms — Ritz-Carlton Jeddah, Hilton Jeddah, Park Hyatt
Permits and approvals
Public events and entertainment in Jeddah run under General Entertainment Authority licensing, with Jeddah Municipality approvals for outdoor and Corniche activations and additional heritage-site rules in Al-Balad. Jeddah Season programming carries its own approvals and dates. Summer heat and Hajj and Umrah traffic shape the calendar as much as the paperwork does.
Crew, travel and timing
The production team and film crew fly from Dammam; staging, LED and furniture are sourced from Jeddah suppliers we specify and supervise, rather than trucked across the Kingdom. Campaigns that run Dammam–Riyadh–Jeddah keep one creative lead and one crew so the brand experience matches in every city. Travel is a visible line on the quote.

Questions clients ask
{03}01Do you produce Jeddah Season or Red Sea activations?
Yes. Public-facing activations on the Corniche, in Jeddah Season zones or at waterfront venues need GEA licensing plus the zone's or municipality's operating approvals, and crowd-flow and heat planning that a closed corporate event does not. We scope all three.
02How do you keep a multi-city launch consistent across Dammam, Riyadh and Jeddah?
One creative lead, one producer and one film crew on every leg, with the stage, content and print built once and adapted to each venue. Local hire handles crew depth in each city; the people who know the brief travel.
03When is Jeddah's event calendar busiest?
Jeddah Season (typically late spring into summer) and the winter months for outdoor programming; Ramadan reshapes timings rather than cancelling them. Venues on the Corniche book early for both, so we hold dates before we finalise creative.
